Automotive LiDAR Application Solutions

Focuslight is developing product platforms and photonics solutions for LiDAR, DMS and other emerging automotive applications. Focuslight offers optical components, optical assemblies, and laser transmitters for LiDAR customers. For laser transmitters, Focuslight offers edge-emitting laser-based BeamRazor™series line laser transmitter module, VCSEL-laser-based line laser and flash transmitter modules, and high peak power DPSS-laser-based transmitter module.

Focuslight has established a certified IATF 16949 quality system and passed VDA 6.3 audit in 2020. Focuslight with its rich experiences and core technologies in design, development, qualification and high-volume auto-grade manufacturing has successfully established a wide connection and engagement with various valued LiDAR customers. A volume supply contract with an automotive tier 1 customer for its first automotive LiDAR project has already entered SOP.

Semiconductor Manufacturing Application Solutions

Working closely with our customers, Focuslight's micro-optical solutions help the semiconductor industry to gain the best precision and resolution for their own production. With these solutions, Focuslight has contributed to enabling optical lithographic production of sub 30 nm structures.

With our core technologies combined, Focuslight's DLight S series semiconductor wafer annealing system is applicable in the front process of semiconductors to complete dynamic surface annealing (DSA) and laser peaking annealing (LSA).

Consumer Health and Professional Medical Application Solutions

Laser Hair Removal: Focuslight provides industry-leading diode laser products and turn-key solutions to customers worldwide. Our products include Vshiny series lasers based on microchannel cooling technology, Vsilk series lasers based on conduction cooling technology, LPS series power supplies and F-pure series filter cartridges.

Laser Body Sculpting: Focuslight offers complete solutions for laser body sculpting so that our customers can enter the market more quickly. Focuslight’s non-invasive laser body sculpting modules are developed under independent intellectual property rights and delivered with integrated laser light source, beam shaper, semiconductor cooling and skin contact monitor.

Consumer Health Solutions (home-use laser hair removal): Same as its professional version, home-use laser hair removal is powered by the selective photothermolysis theory. Laser beam with 808nm wavelength, which has been widely recognized as the “golden wavelength” for laser hair removal, is also adopted for home use. Compared with the Intense Pulsed Light technology (IPL), laser has a much narrower spectrum, a higher absorption rate at hair follicles but a lower one at tissues. Furthermore, laser can provide a higher energy density that leads to better hair removal results.

Consumer Health Solutions (Home-use skin rejuvenation): Focuslight’s home-use laser skin rejuvenation module can generate single spot / multiple spots / spot matrix through our special optical design. The multiple-spot solution can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the treatment. Flexibility of customization on products are also available upon request.

Medical Treatment: Focuslight’s fiber coupling modules (FCM) and MCC series microchannel water-cooled laser components are widely used in various laser medical treatment systems as core components with high reliability and excellent performance.
